SENTO Bangkok is a Japanese-styled nuru spa at 582/25-26 Ekkamai Road, in Watthana, well away from the Sukhumvit 20–33 strip where most of the city’s nuru shops sit. It takes its name and its theme from the Japanese bathhouse: every session starts with a shower and tea, and the rooms step up from a standard room to a deluxe room with a soaking tub and a VIP room with its own jacuzzi.

Our Verdict
SENTO is the Ekkamai answer to a market concentrated a few kilometres west, and being out of the cluster is the point. The Sukhumvit nuru sois are dense and busy; this stretch of Ekkamai Road is not. You give up comparing five shops in ten minutes for a self-contained venue that does not share a doorway with a competitor.
It is priced at the premium end: ฿3,500 for 80 minutes in a standard room, ฿4,500 to ฿6,000 for the longer-prepared packages and better rooms. The sessions are 80 minutes rather than the usual 60, which narrows the gap with Sukhumvit hour prices. Everything on this page comes from the operator; we have not been inside.
What to Expect
The card has three single-therapist packages, all 80 minutes. SENTŌ Whisper is the gentle entry session. Soft Touch is the one the operator calls its signature, “the one most guests return for”. Imperial Touch comes with the deluxe room, the longest preparation and the lowest lighting. Harmony Healing puts two therapists on any two of those, with the jacuzzi room included. Every package includes a shower, tea and preparation time.
There are three room types, all with an air mattress, a Japanese bath chair, a mirror and a queen bed. The Standard rooms are warm-lit and open. The Deluxe rooms add a private bath with a freestanding soaking tub, in deep blue. The VIP Jacuzzi room adds a corner jacuzzi, in deep red. Guests wait in a lounge of leather recliners. The operator stresses privacy and keeps a limited number of appointments a day.

Location & Access
582/25-26 Ekkamai Road, on the long stretch of Soi Sukhumvit 63 that runs north from BTS Ekkamai. The map pin on this page is the operator’s own Google Maps location, about two kilometres up the road from the station, so take a taxi or motorbike from the BTS rather than walking. The entrance is a white shopfront with a black door, a wooden deck and a row of potted bonsai.
